The Philippine central bank said on Tuesday it expected annual inflation in July to come in a range of 11.2-12.0 percent.

Annual inflation in June hit a 14-year high of 11.4 percent due to soaring food and fuel costs, prompting the central bank to hike rates by an aggressive 50 basis points at its July 17 meeting.

Inflation data for July will be released on August 5.
